Are you damaging your hair on “accident”? Don’t worry gf! You’re not alone. Sooo many women don’t realize that missing THESE two important steps, can actually ruin the integrity of our hair!

Here are two tips to help prevent unnecessary heat damage!

REASON 1: Not applying a leave in/heat protectant before styling. Be sure your hair is towel dried before application, as to not dilute your product. Apply throughout your mid length and ends, brushing through for thorough saturation.

REASON 2: Not allowing your hair to be 80-90% dry before applying a round brush and heat to it. Allow hair to air dry before applying heat, but if this isn’t feasible, power dry it quickly with a dryer. Removing as much moisture as possible. If you start trying to blow dry and round brush your hair too soon, you will be wasting time and energy, and also applying unnecessary heat, drying out your locks even more.

Were you and your family able to make it out to The Big Fresno Fair drive-thru eats? Comment and share your experiences below!

Things are definitely different this year! But I am proud to live in a community that tried their hardest to bring back some kind of routine to families that were used to going to the fair!

We were able to make it out twice and our family loved it! the kicker was driving a Toyota and being allowed to get into the fast pass line for free! ($50 value!)

Hopefully next year we’ll be back, but if not? I could DEFINITELY do the drive-thru eats again!!

Extensions to me aren’t actually about the hair. The transformation ends up being so much deeper than that.

Have you heard the announcement regarding salons on California? What do you feel when you see this picture? Hot? Sweaty? Claustrophobic? Suffocated?

Can you imagine having your hair done outside in fresno in 100+ degree weather? With high humidity and with a mask on with No AC?

Which by the way, the ONLY service allowed is a haircut! During the last SIP I cut my husbands hair outside twice and it was HORRIBLE! Hair got EVERYWHERE and stuck to EVERYTHING. The wind was blowing, and sweat was everywhere!

This is UNACCEPTABLE and needs to be removed! This should NOT be an “option” ! We mustn’t stand for this.

My salon was cleaner than anything or anywhere I’ve been in these last few weeks. A very controlled environment! Compared to outside. I thoroughly disinfected everything before and after every single guest! And my guests felt safe!

This is NOT. OK!
