A Bauman Certified Hair Coach is a beauty or wellness professional—such as a cosmetologist, stylist, or trichologist—who has completed a specialized training program created by board-certified hair restoration physician Dr. Alan Bauman.
What Hair Coaches Do:
Detect Early Hair Loss: They are trained to spot early signs of hair thinning and scalp issues long before they become severe.
Track Measurements: They use clinical tools like the HairCheck trichometer and trichoscopy to measure hair density, caliber, and growth rates scientifically over time.
Provide Scalp Wellness: They offer non-medical treatments, customized product recommendations, and proper scalp care protocols.
Guide Referrals: They help clients navigate realistic treatment options and know when to refer someone to a medical doctor for advanced restoration therapies (like PRP or transplants).
