Eight Years Later... The Journey Continues.

Every great journey begins with a dream.

In 2001, Marylyn Reed opened Bergamos Retreat with a vision to create more than a day spa—a place where wellness, beauty, and genuine hospitality would come together to serve our community.

When Hurricane Harvey changed everything, giving up was never an option. Marylyn's vision only grew stronger.

That's why Friday, July 13, 2018 wasn't just our reopening—it was our new beginning. The date was intentionally chosen to honor Mary Kay Ash, who famously launched her business on a Friday the 13th, believing that extraordinary things can begin on a day many overlook.

Today, as we celebrate eight years in our current home, we honor the resilience, determination, and heart that brought Bergamos to where it is today.

To Marylyn, thank you for dreaming big enough for all of us.

To our incredible team, loyal guests, and the Friendswood community, thank you for believing in that dream and walking this journey with us.
