🚨 A former Frisco doctor is now facing murder charges nearly three years after a medical spa treatment turned deadly. Authorities say Jason Gallagher, a former Frisco anesthesiologist, and Amber Johnson have been charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminally negligent homicide in connection with the 2023 death of Jenifer Cleveland at Luxe Med Spa in Freestone County. Investigators allege Cleveland suffered fatal complications after receiving an IV treatment administered by Johnson, who police say was not licensed, while Gallagher allegedly failed to properly supervise the procedure. Following the incident, Gallagher's medical license was suspended, and the case ultimately led Texas lawmakers to pass "Jenifer's Law" in 2025, strengthening regulations for elective IV therapy clinics across the state. The two defendants were arraigned this week and will now face the charges in court as the high profile case moves forward.
