Well, not exactly. Interior layers were added to remove bulk… there’s a lot to de-volume here. Layers are necessary, but the desired result doesn’t have to be compromised. On the surface, one length; underneath is where the magic happens.

About this picture: it’s a shot from last year, this gorgeous guest loves her brunette hair but also enjoys playing with some light pieces carefully placed for an easy grow out.

One of my favourites.

She’s
• beautiful inside and out
• a trail blazer
• always ready to change her look up
• currently growing out her hair from a pixie-shag to a longer length tousled bob

At this visit, we brought her length up a couple of inches to remove a lot of old layers that were not being “grow out friendly.” Sometimes you have to slow down in order to speed up, and that, friends; is a fact.

A great shampoo starts right here; I’m kinda known for mine!

Of course, I’m ALWAYS mindful, but not always demure…oops 🕺🏻😆

Luncheon planning for a sweet, special friend with sweet special friends.

Tell me you’re a salon owner without telling me you’re a salon owner. I’ll go first:

This is one of my brush drawers…I’m not doing a very good job of keeping it as one. We have two measuring tapes, a headlamp (very useful when you’re cleaning out lint from the tumble dryer), samples, vendor marketing materials, two diffusers (probably because if there’s an extra one & we don’t know where to put it, we’ll just pop it right there 🤦🏻‍♀️😆) and my clippers do not belong there, but that’s where I’ve put them as the space on my tray was running out.

Time to reorganise! 🕺🏻
