Years ago, Abstrakt became the first salon in Texas to join the Dresscode Project, a nonprofit dedicated to creating safer, more inclusive salon spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. That commitment led to an opportunity to share the mission on the Today Show with Hoda & Jenna.
Pride Month is a celebration, but it’s also a reminder that inclusion isn’t a marketing campaign or a once-a-year conversation. It’s something that should be woven into the culture of our businesses, our communities, and the way we treat people every single day.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and welcome in the salon chair. Always. 💚🌈
