There’s actually a whole lot of truth behind the silliness of the second picture 😂🩷 One picture says, “We made it to FIVE YEARS!” 🎉 The other one… well, that’s probably a more accurate representation of what it took to get here. 😂

Five years. 🙏🏽 And I can truly say I’ve made it this far because of the Almighty God I serve.

There have been countless prayers at night, tears, stress, uncertainty, sacrifices, hard decisions, growth, self-reflection, love, laughter, happiness, and plenty of moments when I had to remind myself why I started. So much goes into owning a business that people never see.

I’ve owned several businesses throughout my life, but SASA has been different from anything I’ve ever built. This business isn’t just about me. It involves a team, different personalities, clients who trust us, people who come and go, and the responsibility of leading and creating something that is bigger than myself. And through it all, this journey has grown ME just as much as I’ve grown the business.

And yes… after 40, you’re STILL growing and learning! 😂🙌🏽
One thing I’ve learned is that growth will almost always come with some kind of storm. But if you keep your faith, keep moving, learn what the season is trying to teach you, and refuse to give up, eventually you make it to the other side.
I may not know every detail of what’s ahead, but I do know this: WE MADE IT FIVE YEARS. 🥹🩷 And I truly believe God has something amazing in store for SASA Salon & Spa and everyone who is part of this journey.

To every talented stylist and beauty professional who has walked through our doors and contributed something to SASA over these past five years thank you. To our clients who have trusted us, supported us, referred us, encouraged us, and continued to come back THANK YOU. And to my family and friends who have prayed for me, helped me, supported me, listened to me, and stood beside me through every season… thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. 🙏🏽🩷

Five years. 🥹💕 And what a journey it has been.

SASA Salon & Spa is so much more than a business to me. It is something I truly love, something I have prayed over, sacrificed for, poured into, and worked hard for every single day.

Like any business, we have experienced so many different seasons, seasons of growth, seasons of change, exciting seasons, challenging seasons, and seasons that required me to grow right along with the business. But through every season, I have continued to believe in what SASA can be and in the purpose behind what we have built.

When I look at this photo, I don’t just see a salon. I see PEOPLE. I see our amazing team, the clients who continue to trust us, the relationships that have been built within these walls, the laughter, the prayers, the lessons, the long days, the beautiful transformations, and so many memories that have made SASA what it is today.

Five years later, I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still dreaming. And most importantly, I’m still grateful.

Thank you to every stylist, team member, client, friend, and family member who has supported SASA along the way. Whether you have been with us from the beginning or became part of our story somewhere along the journey, you have contributed to these five years.

And above all, I thank God for continuing to guide me, strengthen me, and allow me to steward this vision. 🙏🏽

8 HOURS LATER… 😮‍💨🔥 and WORTH EVERY MINUTE!

Y’all… this one was a TASK! 😂 My client has FOUR raw bundles installed, and every single bundle had to be custom colored. We also had to take down her previous sew in, custom color her natural hair, AND create different formulas because some of the bundles were lighter than others. 🎨

This was definitely not a “mix one bowl and go” kind of color service. 😂 It took patience, multiple formulations, and a whole lot of trust in the process, but BABY, THE FINAL COLOR?! 🤎🍂🔥

The blend between her natural hair and all four bundles came out BEAUTIFUL. This video honestly doesn’t even do it justice because after 8 hours, your girl was TIRED and my content creator skills were officially off the clock. 😂😭 I’m definitely waiting on the selfies!
