I keep myself so busy between my full time corporate job, running WESS, family commitments, farm animal care and prepping for Baby Maymi that I rarely take the time anymore to enjoy a cup of tea for myself.

This time of year I’m reminded that while I cannot simply stop, I can be more mindful of my energy and body. My body is working so hard to keep up with everything I ask of her while also growing a baby; she deserves nourishment, rest and attention.

I’m enjoying Demeter, my pregnancy safe, uterine strengthening and nutritive tonic, and choosing to view this tea time as a necessity, not a “treat”.
