A new chapter begins. 🤍

I’m so excited to officially announce that beginning June 1st, I’ll be joining Metamorphosis Salon in Old Town Manassas as my new salon home.

This move has been such a thoughtful and emotional decision for me, and I truly feel so grateful for every client who has supported me through every season of my career. Especially Fran who has supported and encouraged doing what’s best for myself and my family’s schedule. Thank you dear clients for continuing to trust me with your hair, your confidence, and your lives.

TRANSFORMATION BREAKDOWN ✨

We had a lot going on to start — a mix of professional color + manic panic blue layered over an old calico base (aka multiple tones, uneven porosity, and hidden warmth underneath 👀)

Step 1: Reset the canvas
→ Used a color remover to gently lift out direct dye + artificial pigment
→ Followed with a controlled bleach bath (40 vol diluted) to softly break through remaining color while protecting the integrity of the hair

Step 2: Even + prep
→ Once we reached a more even, workable base, we prepped for a controlled tone

Step 3: Custom tone
→ ASP Hair Color Apricot + Rose Blush for soft warmth + diffusion
→ Maria Nila 7GC with cream developer for depth and richness
→ Processed for 10 minutes to avoid over-grabbing on porous ends

Step 4: Treat + seal
→ Finished with a Quick Shot mask + repair booster to restore, strengthen, and give that luxury shine ✨

We’re following through with a full highlight in 2 weeks to take her into an ash blonde 🤍
Today was all about safely removing buildup and creating the perfect, clean canvas so we can lift evenly and predictably next session without compromising the hair
