Out of all the hair and scalp concerns, dandruff is probably one of the most common. We spoke with Davines National Master Trainer Sunny Brewer to learn why our Purifying line should be a must-have for anyone currently dealing with dandruff.

1. Who is Purifying made for?

"People with dry or flaky dandruff — Purifying Shampoo and Purifying Gel cleanse the scalp with anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties without leaving a film behind. They're enriched with dandelion phytoceuticals, which have a strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant power."

2. Are they used together?

"They most definitely are meant to be used together for the best and most efficient performance. If used separately, the end results may be delayed, or the dandruff may not be eradicated."

3. How do you use them?

"Shampoo with Purifying Shampoo, massage it into your scalp really well, then rinse. After shampooing, apply Purifying Gel to the scalp, leave it on for about 10 minutes, then rinse well.

This regimen can be followed once a week for about 3 weeks, and then if dandruff persists, once every 2 weeks. It can also be used as a spot treatment if you only experience dandruff in a certain area."
