Chanelle Gallardo moved to Gainesville, FL, from small town Elizabeth City, NC, after ten years of owning Pure Rejuvenation Skincare. She is passionate about helping women look and feel beautiful and confident in their skin. Her specializations are in anti-aging, sun damage, and acne. Her goal is to revitalize and recharge her clients. She caters to improving mental health through her services. Chanelle specializes in clinical skincare along with waxing, lashes, brow, and lash tinting as well.

$250 for a weekly renter

We are excited to get back to the salon in a safe way that protects the stylist and client. Here are some of our new requirements:
- please stay in your car, then call your stylist, so they know you have arrived ( If we do not answer that means we are cleaning or finishing with the last guest)
- when entering the salon, please use one of our MANY hand sanitizers or wash your hands.
- No double booking, and that includes having family members tagging along.
- if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone that might be sick, then let us know so we can reschedule you.
- we will not be supplying magazines, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Attention to my patient and fantastic clientele, we have received word that we can reopen on Monday, May 11th. I will reach out to all of you that have been patiently on the waiting list since mid-March. We will be making some changes to how many clients that we allow in the salon. With that being said, there will be no double booking and a 15 minute break in between each client for proper cleaning. I realize everyone wants to get their hair done ASAP, and now some will be stretched out even further. If you CAN wait longer or can get by with minimum ( No blow-drys or extra services), please feel free to reach out to me. This helps tremendously with getting everyone back in. Please know you are all missed and important to me!

I was missing my client Barby Rainwater that I'm used to seeing three times a week, so I decided to surprise her with a driveway six feet away visit. We teared up and laughed for an hour, and it was what we both were needing! ❤️

Day #11 of not working on hair:
I noticed that my horse Gabby had some thinning areas in her mane, so I decided she needed a little thickening up with , so now she is transformed into a unicorn🦄

With everything that is going on right now, I wanted to share some positivity by sharing my journey.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was born to create beauty in this world. Whether it was drawing, painting, braiding my horse’s tail, or giving my guinea pig a full-on blowout, my hands never stopped. I loved to create, and I was lucky to have a family that always encouraged me.

Fast forward to 2004. I had a high school teacher tell me, “entrepreneurship and business are not for you.” From that moment, I knew I was going to prove her wrong and anyone else that doubted me. While all my friends were applying to college, I was applying to hair school.

At the age of 18, I was busting my ass, spending my days assisting/reception full-time at a hair salon, and my nights in hair school. I feel very blessed that I've had the privilege to work with some very talented hairstylists and salon owners.

In 2012 at the age of 23, the salon I was working for was changing owners. I decided this was my moment to begin the greatest adventure of my life. I told the new owner that I would not be staying, and I was opening up my own place. That “smart, successful businessman” told me, “I’ll have a chair waiting for you when you fail.”

Did I fail? No! I successfully opened my studio, starting with nothing but four empty walls of rental space and zero financial help from my family. Then in 2013, at the age of 24, I bought the building that is now the home of Sarah's Hair Studio.

Believe in your dreams, people, because they can come true! I want to thank my husband, Smoak, and all of my beautiful clients for being on this journey with me.

Now for all of you parents that are home with your kids and trying to navigate online schooling, let your kids create. Let them have the extra time to spend on art and music. The creative kids are the dreamers, and they will successfully create the lives they've always imagined.
