Continuing my rant from my previous video 😀

What many people don’t realize is that removal often comes with:
• more time
• more emotional stress
• more financial investment
—and it’s rarely something clients picture themselves needing when they first say yes. In her case, her artist didn’t have options to support her through that moment. #
So I walked her through the realities of her choices — calmly, honestly, and without urgency — because removal should never feel like the first solution. It should be a carefully considered last resort. Thankfully, after understanding what was happening and what her skin needed, she chose not to remove them right away.

But truthfully…

No one should have to carry that kind of panic just days after a cosmetic tattoo. And many of these situations can be prevented when clients slow down long enough to find the artist that makes them feel the same certainty as saying yes to the dress.

That means:
Researching, scheduling a formal consultation, asking questions, looking at healed work — not just fresh results.
Having a license or permit is important where state regulations require it…
…but it shouldn’t be the finish line.

Your artist should be investing in their skill continuously.
Because this industry evolves. Pigments change. Technologies improve. Techniques advance.
And perhaps most importantly…
You change. Your skin changes. Your body changes.

Finding an artist who understands how to grow with you over time is not something worth rushing — or bargaining.

Last year I started recording a series about how artists should be able to build thoughtful, clear treatment plans with their clients…
…and have the discernment to recognize when they need to pivot — whether that means adjusting the approach, correcting safely, or in some cases considering removal responsibly. Because the best outcomes don’t happen by accident. They happen through intention, communication, and clinical judgment.

If that’s a conversation you’d like me to continue, let me know below by saying “share more.”
I’d love to expand on it for you.

Saying yes to getting your brows done should feel a lot like saying yes to the dress you’ll wear on your wedding day.

You don’t bargain shop for it.
You don’t rush the decision.
You don’t pick the first one you see.
You take your time…
You try things on…
You research…
You sit with it…

Until you have that moment where you say:
“That’s the one.”

Your brow experience deserves the same level of intention — because unlike a dress, this is something you wear every single day for years. And when that decision is rushed, bargain-driven, or made without enough thought…
It can quickly become a regret people feel forced to live with, fade through, or correct in ways they never imagined.

I recently had a client reach out to book with me, cancel, and choose another artist instead — which is always fine, I fully respect that - But just days after her appointment, she called me back. She wasn’t happy with her brows and wanted to remove them immediately.

I’ll share more with you on wha happened in the very next post because I didn’t realize I was going on a tangent lol

She thought about it for a long time.
She went back and forth.
She questioned if it was the right decision for her.
For almost a year… she waited.
Not because she was afraid —
but because she understood that permanency deserves careful consideration.

And truthfully? I respect that.
Permanent makeup is not something I believe anyone should rush into.
You should feel informed. Comfortable. Ready.
When she finally came in to get her brows done for the first time, she left saying: “My only regret is not doing this sooner.” 🤍

Not because she was pressured —
but because she realized her brows could still look like her, just more supported… more effortless.

So if you’ve been taking your time, researching, quietly thinking about it…
You’re doing it the right way.
When the decision is thoughtful, the outcome tends to feel even better.
