Welcome to your personalized hair experience, where expert transformations and hair health education come together for truly customized results! Hello Loves!!!!

Changing your hair should NEVER be a scary experience! A great way to "try out" a different stylist is to book a shampoo & style! You'll meet the stylist, talk to them about your hair, what you love, don't love, etc., and begin building a trusted relationship – and there is NO commitment of a new cut or color until you’re ready! One of the most important--and often underrated--parts of your salon

Summer's here and while the pool is calling, chlorine is not your hair's best friend.
Here's what I tell every client heading into swim season:

Wet your hair with clean water BEFORE you get in. Your hair absorbs water like a sponge if it's already saturated, it takes in far less chlorine. Then coat it with a leave-in conditioner to create a barrier before you dive in.

When you get out, rinse right away. The longer chlorine sits, the more damage it does. A weekly clarifying shampoo — I love Malibu Swimmers for this (I have 1 set left in the salon) will clear out any buildup, and a deep conditioning treatment keeps your hair soft and strong all season long.

And don't forget the sun. UV rays dry out your hair and fade color faster than anything. A UV-protectant leave-in or a wide-brimmed hat goes a long way.

Someone recently asked me, "Jodi, confess blondes or brunettes?"
Honestly? It's like choosing between two desserts I'd never turn down. I want both, and I'm not sorry about it!
Here's the thing about blondes, no two are ever the same. Every blonde I create is completely custom. The application, the formulation, the placement, I've genuinely never done it the same way twice. To me, that's artistry, and I find it endlessly fascinating.
And brunettes? This is where I love to surprise people. There's no such thing as just "brown hair." We're talking rich golden browns, warm coppers, deep burgundy tones, stunning balayage (foilyage) that makes you do a double take. So many stylists overlook what's possible with brunette color but I see it as some of the most creative work I do.
So yes. Both. Always both.
What's your hair color story blonde or brunettes? I'd love to hear it drop it in the comments.

Raise your hand if you were blonde as a kid and brunette by high school!!
I can't tell you how many women sit in my chair and say:"I was so blonde when I was little, I don’t know what happened?!"
The truth is, it's completely normal. As we get older, our hair naturally changes. The amount and type of pigment (melanin) our hair produces shifts over time, often causing blonde hair to gradually become darker.
A few reasons this happens:
• Hormonal changes can affect your natural hair color.
• We usually spend less time in the sun than we did as kids, so our hair doesn't get naturally lightened as much.
• Changes in hair texture and density can make hair appear darker.
• Genetics eventually take over and reveal your "adult" hair color.

So if you're wondering where your childhood blonde went you're definitely not alone!

Now here is whay I'm curious about.
Were you blonde as a child? Did your hair get darker with age?
Drop a photo or tell me your story in the comments! I'd love to know how many former blondes are out there.

And if you're missing that brighter, lighter look, don't worry there are beautiful, low-maintenance ways to bring back the blonde that still feels natural and flattering.

Have you ever decided to grow out your natural hair only to realize a few months later that you missed your color?
I see this happen all the time. Many women start the journey excited to embrace their natural gray or natural color. Sometimes they absolutely love it. Other times, after a few inches of grow-out, they realize it doesn't feel like "them."
And that's okay.
Choosing to color your hair again doesn't mean you failed. It doesn't mean you gave up. It simply means you've discovered what makes you feel the most confident when you look in the mirror. Your hair gets to evolve as many times as you do.
Have you ever grown out your natural hair and then decided to go back to color? Or are you currently thinking about making the switch?
I'd love to hear your experience.

Everyone is talking about 90s layers right now and THIS is exactly why. Watch this full cut from start to finish because that before and after at the end is everything.
Long and one-length going in. Short, layered, and full of movement coming out. This is the cut that makes hair actually LIVE again bounce, shape, and a whole new vibe from nothing but scissors and a comb.
If your hair has been just hanging there, this is your sign. Drop a comment if you would want to try this cut!
