Hey y’all!
Unfortunately I caught the crap going around… thankfully it fell on a weekend and hasn’t interrupted my work schedule.
I’m feeling better after a few days of rest but it’s still lurking and I was double booked today so I know I didn’t get to all my texts or calls. I will do my best to get you booked tomorrow. As always feel free to use my schedule ap. Availability is into January and February for color and I have a few spots for cuts if you aren’t pre booked. My day time slots are FULL and there is a waiting list option in case of cancelations.
As always I have a 2 local former barber students and a stylist that I refer to if you need in I will get you in good hands.

I will be working on my December/January books this evening. I will only be available limited evenings and weekends through the winter/holiday season. Please comment or message if you need in. Need to change your prebooked appointment or confirm it. I will then open up available times left in my schedule ap.
I will also be working with Brook to pass along my clients that I cannot service do to my schedule. We will get her schedule added to my schedule system in December!

Good morning! I’m working on my Nov/December books.
If you are one of my color clients and not prescheduled please message me if you will be needing a service. I have blocked out most of my evenings through out the week. As most of you know Im excited to have accepted a full time position at New Style Hair Academy, and I will be limited with my time behind the chair, specifically through the winter as I do A LOT of driving! I look forward to continue to service as many of you as I can.

I was tempted to throw a few foils in there but it really didn’t need it. The purpose of blending silver is low maintenance. And that little bit of warmth coming back thru adds just enough demension (for now)
I’ll see her a few weeks sooner to maintain this sassy cut and we will blend and tone only as needed. ✨

Today was the day.
From blonde to silver…customized for a natural blend, unaged silver. . . And a quick fun design while she processed. 👌 👌

I didn’t take a before pic but adding dimension back into her hair made a huge difference. I added warmth into her existing blonde formula to bring some natura light to her locks and perk up the dullness of her former platinum/ash and offset her formulated for gray lowlight. ✨✨

This pretty girl was excited for her very first haircut today!!
Just a couple inches for now, to clean up her ends and maybe a lot of inches in a few weeks. ..Maybe

I will be making significant changes to my schedule behind the chair as I move forward to teaching FULL time. 💈👩🏽‍🏫

If you are one of my clients who has a preference for a morning or daytime time slot please reach out to me if you are not a pre booked client. I will only have 1 full day of availability weekly.

That being said, and in other exciting news I will begin the hiring process for the grooming lounge scheduled to open late fall/early winter. I will be hiring both barbers and stylists and offering both chair rental and hourly pay scales. Im a little late working on my sept/Oct schedule…because holy where did August go??
I have openings sept. 19th and sept 26th, otherwise my schedule for September is BOOKED If you do not have a pre booked appointment and need one message me asap! I can always get a cut in but last minute is getting harder to accommodate.
NOW booking October and November.
I will be planning on taking a week off towards the end of October to give my focus to business moves I will announce later.
As always I will continue to accommodate my loyal clientele as best I can as I continue to grow.

Hey y’all…as a reminder: during back to school time and as the fall approaches also means prime time for lice infestations.
Through all the excitement let’s not forget to teach our littles to not share everything…
Hats, brushes, coats and hoodies should not be shared.
If you suspect your child might have come in contact with head lice don’t treat until you for sure spot a bug or a nit. Instead use over the counter preventative products or add a little tea tree oil to your nightly regimen. Follow up in the morning by adding heat from a blow dryer or flat iron a couple of times through the week.
If you do spot lice remember to treat thoroughly and as quickly as possible ONCE and then repeat the process on the 8th day after treatment.
Keep bedding minimal and washed or dryed for 20 min daily.
Comb through to remove as many nits as possible during those days, and again follow up with blow drying and or flat ironing to help kill any new hatched lice and prevent a new life cycle.

I want to thank all my clients who continue to support my small business. You are the core of my business and my success.
As we know the economy is currently on the struggle bus and this “inflation” is having some impacts on your salons and barber shops.
Unfortunately, day to day supplies are continuing to rise in price, this includes back bar supplies such as shampoo, color, product, gloves foils etc. In effort to minimize having to raise prices across the board I’m going to make a few small changes.
When possible, please pay in cash or good check. I will continue to accept credit cards and online payment options but ongoing I will offset those fees by adding a small fee to your total when you use your credit/debit card. This will be a charge from $1-$5 depending on your total.
Clients requesting a shampoo after or before their service will be upgraded to the cut with shampoo price. It is a $3 difference. Rinsing off requiring no shampoo will continue to be complementary.
I will continue to pass down deals on retail as I receive them.
As for now I am not planning on raising prices on any services. As the cost of color continues to rise, double and triple process colors may increase on a individual basis which will be discussed during your consultation.
