This is the end of March, today marks the day of our transfer without consultation 105 Years Ago.
My project is called Mushi Danki 🙏🏾✨

In order for a people to be a people, linguistically we must be strong.
A nation is strong when the women are strong.
A nation is strong when men and women honor their mothers from which they came. In order for a nationality to survive there must be three things: Land, Literacy, and Language.
Space gives a people opportunity to exist in nature.
With literacy, there’s evidence and proof. Throughout the entire Western Hemisphere the Virgin Islands had the first literate “slave” population during the 18th century. But Virgin Islanders have lost their language due to colonialism. This means Virgin Islanders have lost their minds.
This is the 21st Century Renaissance & we’re looking for our minds.

Transparency was a character trait of the Virgin Islands community. Our communication was strong, because we were more transparent with one another. Certain things you just couldn’t hide.
Hanging clothes on the lines to dry, requires a certain level of honesty. There’s no room for shame. It shows how often you wash, and sometimes you can’t hide why you’ve washed. It’ll even reveal if you’re dealing with OCD. Especially when everyone shares yards and clothes lines.

The fabric of our village was woven together due to common circumstances that form communal bonds.p
I’m practicing transparency with you today. Yesterday we were ignorant. Today we are disoriented. Tomorrow what will we be?

Curl Queen 👑
A great CUT gives a better head of curls than a good trim. The volume and b***y is much easier to achieve when there’s a good cut in the midsts.
Maintaining curls I’ve found is easiest by pincurling at night. Soon I’ll do a video on the different ways to keep curls in tact, a healthy combination three things:
pin curling and wrapping a satin pillow case, can give the look you desire while maintaining healthy hair. Heartless maintenance is very much possible ESPECIALLY in the months to come. 💓

I really love these types of partials because you don’t have to worry about blending your hair with the leave out. It’s such a cute and nifty style, protective as all get out and the curlier the hair the better. With regular routine maintenance you can get the braids refreshed and you’re good to go!
