What separates a great brow artist from an average one? Knowing that not every brow gets the same pattern.
Every client's natural hair growth is different, some grows up, some grows down, some goes in multiple directions. A great artist reads that pattern first and works with it, not against it.
But there are cases where a client specifically wants that laminated, brushed-up look, and that's when a pattern like this one (the "upper spine" / European pattern) comes in. It's not the default. It's a tool you pull out when it's the right fit for what she wants.
This is exactly the kind of judgment call I teach inside my training, because technique is only half of it. Knowing when to use which pattern is what actually makes results look natural.

10 years later… and I’m still obsessed!

Your brow color isn't fixed the day you walk out of the studio, it changes over time, and knowing why helps you protect it. 🤎
Swipe through to learn what actually affects how your pigment heals, fades, and ages:
☀️ UV exposure = one of the top causes of pigment fading and color shift
🧴 Retinols, glycolic acid & acne treatments fade pigment unevenly, keep actives off the brow area
🧬 Skin type, body chemistry & past tattoo history all affect healing (that's normal, not a mistake)
🎨 Color choice, depth plays a big roll on how they fade
⚠️ Layering new pigment over faded/discolored brows without correction = higher risk of unwanted undertones
🔁 Touch-ups every 12–24 months keep brows fresh and prevent patchiness or color shifting
Healed brows are a partnership, not a one-time appointment. Take care of them and they'll take care of you.
