We often think and spend so much time believing we need to learn something new to have what we want or be a “better” version of ourselves.

But often nothing changes, and we end up believing it’s us, because we didn’t try hard enough, do it well enough, or, we missed something, aren’t good enough or what we want isn’t available to us.

What if it isn’t what we need to learn but what we need to unlearn that makes the difference?
Suppose we keep believing we are broken, can’t have what we want, worry about what others will think and say, keep listening to the fear, self-doubt, look for the challenges, and stay afraid of failing. In that case, we will find all those things and remain oscillating in the same patterns and limitations, and nothing will change regardless of what new thing you have learned.

Suppose we could unlearn the habits, mindsets, limiting beliefs, untrue narratives, fear, and the idea we aren’t good enough or broken. In that case, we could stop operating from resistance, self-sabotage, and fixing what we think is broken.
And instead, redirect our energy and emotions to align with what we wanted, not what we didn’t want.

Learning is amazing and valuable, and yes helps us open up the window of possibilities and seeing things in a new way and perspective.
But, if our underlying beliefs get in the way or our perspective is so narrow or stuck, the learnings will often be defeated, or the outcomes will remain the same.
