At Scrublands Apothecary, we maintain soap quality and freshness by making small batches of soap. Over the years, we have improved our soap making process to make a beautiful, long lasting, moisturizing soap bar. We are continually exploring exciting and unique cold process soap formulations. Unlike commercially bought soap, homemade soap contains glycerin which pulls moisture from the air and deeper layers of the skin into the top layer of skin. As a result, the skin is moisturized, softened, and protected. We only use natural ingredients in our soap. All soap is made from pure plant oils and sodium hydroxide using the cold-process soap process. All essential oils are all-natural. All fragrance oils are cosmetically approved, phthalate free, and safe for soap making. All Scrublands Apothecary Soap is handcrafted in the backcountry of North Carolina.
