When God says, “It’s GO time,” you better hang on… because things are about to move FAST. 🙌

All of this work was done YESTERDAY, and WOW… we uncovered more than we expected! 😳

We discovered a pretty raunchy water leak that had caused the flooring to rot out in THREE different rooms. Once we started digging in, we also found issues with the floor joists and subfloor that we knew were hiding beneath the surface.

But in the middle of all those unexpected surprises… LOOK AT THOSE HARDWOODS! 😍

I have always known there were hardwood floors hiding underneath that old linoleum, and seeing them uncovered was so exciting! Too bad they’re in such bad shape, because HOW BEAUTIFUL would those floors be?! 😭❤️

This is renovation life. You peel back one layer and find another thing that needs attention. 😂 But we’re tackling it one thing at a time and trusting God through every unexpected twist.

Hold on… we’re just getting started! 🙏✨

✨ WE’RE DOING IT!!! ✨

I am SO excited to finally share that the renovations for the rest of our salon have officially been approved by our landlord, and we’ll be getting started soon! 🥹🏡✨

This house already has a new roof, new gutters, and a new HVAC system, and now we’re taking it to the next level with new hot water heaters, new plumbing, new electrical, and a complete interior and exterior paint job. 🎨🔨

And the best part? We’re getting the whole house back! ❤️

Nearly 2,500 square feet of space, room to spread out, and THREE glorious shampoo bowls! 🙌🏼✂️🧴

There is a lot of work to do, but I am beyond excited to watch this place transform into the vision I’ve had for it. And you better believe I’ll be posting updates… probably A LOT of updates. 😂

But more than anything, I want to give God all the glory. 🙏🏼

He has walked with me through the last 10 years, through some really hard seasons, some uncertain moments, and a whole lot of waiting. And time and time again, He has proven Himself faithful.

What God has for you will not pass you by. ❤️

And one more exciting thing… we will have room for some new renters! 🎉

We’ll be looking for three hairstylists as well as one spa professional…nails, estheticians, lash artists, or any other beauty professionals who would love to have a space at Cora Rose. ✨

Cora Rose is growing! 🌹

Evening Blessing:

May Jesus tilt your chin upward so you can sense His smile and more clearly hear His voice. May He speak a surprising word of encouragement to you so you have the strength to keep marching onward. May He build a bridge where you least expect one. May He connect you to others who see the best in you. May you steward this training season with clarity, purpose, and conviction. May the things you've been hoping for and praying for culminate into one glorious answer that takes your breath away. And may your faith become sight sooner than later. He's making a way where there's been no way. You can trust Him.

Isaiah 51:11 NLT ~ Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.
