First and foremost, I want you all to know how much I truly love and appreciate my clients. I’m so thankful for every person who trusts me with their hair and continues to support my business. I never want these reminders to come across as anything other than me trying to create a healthy, respectful environment for both my clients and myself. 🤍

I’ve created a work phone number specifically for my clients: (423) 279-8434. Going forward, this is the preferred way to contact me for anything salon-related, including appointments, questions, cancellations, and rescheduling.

I know it can be convenient to send me a DM, Facebook message, personal text, etc., but keeping up with messages across several different platforms can become overwhelming and makes it easier for something to get missed. Using my work number helps me keep everything organized and ensures I can give your messages the attention they deserve.

If I don’t answer right away, please know I’m not ignoring you! I may be behind the chair giving another client my undivided attention, or I may be spending time with my family and friends. If you call and I’m unable to answer, please leave a voicemail with your name, what you’re needing, and the best number to reach you, and I will return your call within 24 hours on business days.

I also want to be very intentional about setting the expectation that I will not be responding to work messages outside of my business hours. Having a life outside of work is important to me. When I’m with my family and the people I love, I want to be fully present and enjoy that time instead of feeling like I have to constantly be checking my phone. 🤍

Just like I ask you to respect my personal time, I promise to respect your time when you’re in my chair. I want to be fully present during your appointment, listen to what you want, and give you the same level of attention and care that I give every single client. My goal is never to rush through your appointment or be distracted by my phone.

🤍 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you. I turn away other clients and plan my schedule around the appointments on my books, so I kindly ask that you extend the same respect to my time that I extend to yours.

I require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.

• Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the reserved service amount will be charged.
• No-show: 100% of the reserved service amount will be charged.**

To make sure this policy can be enforced fairly and consistently, all clients are now required to have a card securely placed on file. Your card information is not visible to me. A deposit will also be required when booking, and the card on file may be charged according to the cancellation policy if the policy is not followed.

I completely understand that life happens. Emergencies, illnesses, and unexpected situations can come up, and I will always use my best judgment and treat those situations with grace. 🤍 However, last-minute cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows without communication have a direct impact on my schedule and my business.

This policy isn’t meant to be harsh or make anyone feel bad. It’s simply a boundary I need to have as a small business owner. My time matters, just as your time matters, and respecting each other’s time allows me to continue providing the experience and quality of service you deserve.

Thank you for understanding my boundaries, using my work number, respecting my business hours, and giving me the same respect and consideration that I give you. I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who supports me and allows me to do what I love every day. 🤍
