A Public Statement from ND Nails

To our valued clients and community,

In our 19 years of serving this community, we have always chosen to let our work, professionalism, and reputation speak for themselves. We never imagined we would have to address a matter like this publicly, but because false information is now being shared about our business, we feel it is necessary to provide some clarity. Recently, claims have been made online suggesting that ND Nails reported a former employee to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), resulting in an inspection. This is completely false. TDLR and health inspections are conducted independently and at random. ND Nails did not report, request, or initiate any inspection involving this former employee. Like any business, employment decisions are made carefully and only after thoughtful consideration. Our decision was based solely on what we believed was in the best interest of our clients, our team, and the standards we have upheld for nearly two decades.

The public is welcome to form their own opinions, but we encourage people to look at the facts that are readily available. The concerns that ultimately led to our decision are reflected in multiple public reviews on our Google Business page. Those reviews are visible for anyone to read and were an important part of evaluating the level of service our clients were receiving.

As the owner of ND Nails, I am also a single mother who manages multiple businesses and properties. Most of my time is spent working to support my family, our employees, and the clients who trust us every day. The little free time I do have is spent with my children. Not plotting against former employees or trying to make someone else’s life more difficult. Simply put, I do not have the time, energy, or desire to involve myself in that kind of behavior. What is disappointing is seeing misinformation shared as fact. Social media has a way of turning assumptions into headlines, and when people are only given pieces of a story, speculation often spreads much faster than the truth. Personal disagreements are one thing, but making false accusations that damage a small business and the livelihoods of the people who work here is another. In 19 years of business, we have only had to let go of two employees. We believe that speaks volumes about the culture we have built, the loyalty of our team, and the values that have allowed ND Nails to serve this community for nearly two decades.

This will be the only public statement we make regarding this matter. We will not participate in online arguments or personal attacks. Our focus remains exactly where it has always been: providing quality services, maintaining a welcoming environment for our clients and staff, and continuing to earn the trust of this community every day.

To all of our wonderful clients, we sincerely apologize for the delay in our Mother’s Day raffle drawing. The drawing was originally supposed to take place on Mother’s Day, but with how overwhelmingly busy this past week has been for our salon, we unfortunately have not had the chance to sit down and do the drawing properly.
