Second sensory haircut, and WOW… I’m so proud of this little guy! We played, he stayed comfortable on Dad’s lap, and I was able to comb his hair with no pushback while being mindful of his touch sensitivity around his ears.
When he was done, we were done. No pushing, no pressure.
But then came the BIG breakthrough… he wanted to sit in the big chair ALL BY HIMSELF!
So we played and celebrated that moment before he left!
These moments may seem small, but in a sensory-friendly haircut, they are HUGE.
It’s not just about cutting hair. It’s about building trust, respecting boundaries, and letting progress happen at their pace.
Today was a BIG win. ❤️

This is such a nightmare! I’m still praying to make it later. I really need to get a dog house!!! This happened late and I slept maybe 2 broken hours last night. 😭 I’m sorry for any inconveniences!!!!
