A few years ago I embarked on a journey to run my own business, to be my own boss, have a flexible schedule and service my clients in an upscale, private, and comfortable setting. I can now look back and say that this business was a success and became everything I set out for it to be. I have learned so much in the past three and a half years from all of you and I have so enjoyed getting to know you, your stories and sometimes your whole families!

I've often wondered what my next venture would be, not because I don't love doing hair, but because I believe that is just the nature of who I am. I enjoy learning new things, expanding my skill sets, and, because life is always changing, I try to find what serves me and my family best when it comes to career choices.

That being said I have decided to move on and pursue a new business opportunity which I am SO excited about. This new business will eventually allow me to work 100% remotely, spend more time with my mom in Florida, and not work nights or weekends (I'm starting to miss those sporting events!).

My last day in the salon will be Wednesday June 28th. If you have an appointment booked with me in July or August I have reached out to let you know about this change. If I've seen you in the past month I have told you personally, with a few exceptions due to timing.

I have a FABULOUS stylist taking over my salon suite. She has almost 20 years experience and hails from the west coast. She is sooo talented and does way more than I did (extensions, makeup, bridal). I know you will love her.

My new business is Best Day Housecleaning and I have spent the last 5 months using all of my free time assembling the pieces of this business so that I can go live in September. Best Day is going to be a very special company. I will be building the most professional, sustainable, and charitable cleaning company in our area. Two of my main goals are:
1) to be the most coveted place to work in the Fox Valley
2) to be the BEST residential housecleaning company in the Fox Valley.

I have so much more I could say about Katherine Banks Beauty AND Best Day Housecleaning but first and foremost I want YOU to know that I appreciate YOU, I have so enjoyed our times together, and I will think of you and your kids and how you are all doing often.
