We will be closing at 1 pm on Thursday 12/24 and will be closed through the weekend for an extended holiday. If you would like to purchase a gift certificate, please call ahead (315-497-3071) so one can be prepared for you to pick up. If you would like one mailed, we can provide that as well. THANK YOU to all that have continued to support us during these challenging times. May your holidays be filled with all that you cherish most.

We are now FULLY OPEN with some changes. To reduce client exposure, Lori & Nikki will no longer have overlapping work schedules. Lori will be working Tues, Thurs & every other Sat, while Nikki will be working Mon, Wed, Fri and alternating Saturdays. We are also maintaining separate appointment books. The 315-497-3071 phone number is still available for Lori and 315-246-4256 for Nikki. Instead of reaching an answering machine, all calls are now forwarding to a personal cell phone during off hours, so scheduling can still occur.

When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car. We will open the door and motion for you to come in when we have completed the cleaning processes that are occurring between each client.

Thank you all for the care and generosity shown to us while we were closed and since our reopening. We appreciate you so much!!

Our reopening guidelines and message to our clients:

* Salon occupancy will be limited to include only the staff member and the client (and children of the client or caregiver of an elderly client.) Clients are asked to remain in their vehicle upon arrival to the salon until instructed to come in as we are disinfecting in between clients.

* Clients are asked to wear a mask upon entering the salon. If a mask is not available, we will provide one for a fee of $1. Clients will be given hand sanitizer, a health assessment will be done, and the client’s temperature will be taken before any services will be performed. Before we provide any service, we will wash our hands.

* The reception area is empty with limited seating. We can no longer offer magazines, puzzles, books, coloring books and crayons or toys to pass the time. You are encouraged to bring your own entertainment if needed, especially for the kiddos while they wait. (The TV is still available.)

* The workstation, reception area, entry door handles will be cleaned with a disinfection solution between each client; the bathroom will be wiped down between each use with a disinfection solution and the salon will be cleaned and disinfected at the end of the workday. The staff member will wash their hands between each client.

* A clean and appropriately stored cape will be used on each client.

* A clean apron will be worn by the staff member that is changed in between each client or family group.

For now, we can no longer offer you a parting hug but we hope that you will see the smile in our eyes and feel the warmth of appreciation from our hearts. We look forward to seeing you soon.

I am pleased to announce, Salons have been added to phase 2 for reopening. I will post requirement details once I know them so we may all prepare. I encourage everyone to proceed into reopening with sensibility, responsibly and with compassion for others.

I feel very disrespected by our Governor and the officials making determinations of what businesses are included in the reopening, phase in plan. Personal service providers don’t appear anywhere in their list. Please help us by reaching out to our elected officials. We are trained professionals, educated and licensed by the State of NY and ask to be treated like the professionals that we are.

NY remains on pause through May 15th. We hope to reopen on Sat. May 16th. Be well!
