Eeeek! The time is finally here! This is Kennadi and she’s my new partner in crime. She has undergone rigorous training with me and will be waxing on the days that I’m not in the salon. Check out my story for more details and follow her at !

REPOST from

Hi, Sexies! I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Kennadi, and I’m Esthetician at Wild Flower Wax Studio in Georgetown, Texas. Here’s some facts about myself so you can get to know me better:

🌸I’ve been an Esthetician for 4 years💫
🌸 I’m a single mother to a snake plant 🪴
🌸I love all things self care and self love 🧖‍♀️
🌸On my days off you can find me thrifting, relaxing or just being amazing (sometimes maybe a combination if I’m feeling a little crazy) 🧘🏼‍♀️
🌸 My career highlight is giving an NFL player a facial (don’t ask me who PLEASE!) ⛹️‍♂️

Starting in January 2024 you can book with me online every Monday and Wednesday 10:00-5:00 as well as the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 10:00-5:00
Booking is available in my Bio!

So your waxer keeps telling you to exfoliate… but what does that mean and how do you do it? Let me break it down for you.

“Exfoliate” simply means to remove the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. When dead skin cells are sitting on the skin, hair has a hard time pushing through them and can become ingrown. Exfoliation is your key to an easy grow out and a super smooth wax! You should exfoliate about 3 days/week. Over-exfoliation will dry out the skin and cause irritation.

So what should you use?
There’s plenty of options on the market but these are the two I recommend over all others:
1) Dry Brushing! Dry brushing works by using ultra fine bristles to slough off dead skin cells. Meant to be used dry before your shower, brush your skin in circular motions for at least 30 seconds, then hop in the shower and wash all those dead skin cells off! Warm, wet spaces like loofahs are breeding grounds for bacteria. Since your brush is used dry, it doesn’t have the opportunity to grow bacteria like a loofah does. Dry brushing is also a method of exfoliation that doesn’t require products that may have irritating fragrances or ingredients.

2)Deck Scrub! For those who prefer to exfoliate in the shower, scrubs are a great option. Deck scrub is a pumice scrub specifically formulated for waxed skin. Free of fragrance and hair follicle clogging ingredients, it’s a safe bet for those with sensitive or problem prone skin.

Any other questions about exfoliating? Let me know! ✨🩵

I have a waxer who is reaching the end of her training with me, and we need some models to practice on!
All services are performed by my trainee and directly supervised by me.

All model services are 50% off. You can do any service, but we are particularly needing Brazilians and brows.
Available dates and times are in the picture.

To keep our training on track, it is essential that models show up to their appointments.
To prevent no shows and late cancellations, a $10 deposit is required to hold your appointment. This can be paid via Venmo or an invoice from my payment software.

New logo checking in👋🏻
It’s been a hot minute since I posted because ive been spending all my time waxing all of you!
A little business update: In a few weeks I’m retiring Waxed by Emily and changing my business name to Wildflower Wax Studio. Waxed by Emily has been good to me but I’m ready for something new! Don’t worry - just because I’m changing my business name doesn’t mean I’m changing my business model. You can still count on great customer service and flawless waxes. I’ve also moved suites at my salon- I’m in #2 now. At this time I’m not accepting new clients until November. If you’re a new client and would like an appointment before then, contact me to join my waitlist and I’ll notify you if any last minute cancellations come up. I am so grateful to all of you for keeping me so busy! 🩵

*Note* I am on vacation from 9/11-9/25 and will not be answering texts or calls during that time frame. Thank you all for your understanding 🥳

Me texting my clients vs seeing them in person👯‍♀️
Happy Saturday friends!🦋✨🌈💕

06/03/2023

In honor of changing my profile pic for the first time in 2 years… this photo is brought to you by caffeine, bad lighting, and a fully booked Saturday✨

I’ve been slacking on social media content so let’s do a little introduction! Some fun facts about me:
🦋I’ve been a licensed esthetician for four and a half years and have specialized in waxing since the beginning!
🦋 Brazilian & bikini waxing is about 90% of my business- it’s kind of my thing.
🦋Before becoming an esthetician I was a preschool gymnastics coach
🦋 I have two dogs and I’m obsessed with them
🦋 I really hate mayonnaise and mustard😩

ALSO we have reached the time of year where I’m booking 4 weeks out, so please try and book your appointments in advance! If you can’t find a spot, let me know and I can always add you to my waitlist. So thankful to have the best job and even better clients🥳
