Summertime tips:
Did you know you should fully wet your hair before going into the pool water?
WHY: Your hair is like a sponge and it’s better to have it saturated with tap water than have it soak up all the chlorinated water! You can even add it a deep conditioner to your wet hair to let it sit in there!
After swimming, be sure and wash your hair to get any chlorine out and use a deep conditioner to nourish it!
WHY: A deep conditioner gets INTO the shaft and seals damaged strands like a daily conditioner cannot do.
Choose a sunscreen that is a mineral sunscreen that contains both Zinc oxide and titanium oxide-
WHY:
Zinc Oxide
Helps protect against UVA (aging rays) and UVB (burning rays).
Titanium Dioxide
Enhances UVB protection and supports overall sun defense.
Aloe A PLUS
Helps soothe, hydrate, and refresh sun-exposed skin.
Always be ready with a soothing gel for skin that is dehydrated and over baked!
WHY: We all know sun damage doesn’t show up til much later so do all you can to care for your skin if you have prolonged exposure- and be sure and wear a hat!

All the help we DON’T need!

I’ve been doing research- we all know that sun damage begins to happen WAY before we see evidence of it-
Same is actually true of wrinkles- yes they are a natural process of aging but what if we could slow them down dramatically??
