Hair & Makeup by Sonya Humphrey

She attributes her Clipper Cutting success to her time at Bailey's Barber College. Feeling she wanted to learn more about the beauty business, she transferred to Cosmetology College in Frankfort Ky and graduated in 1993. Sonya has been associated with the following salons in Georgetown Kentucky-Specialist of Hair Design, A touch of Class, Hair Incorporated Salon and Day Spa. A firm believer in continuing education, she attended Color Specialist training and became a Color Specialist for Z Salon and Spa. One of the largest Salons in Kentucky. During her time in Louisville she was a motivational speaker at Cosmetology colleges and had the opportunity to provide personal hair and makeup service for actress and Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence and music artist David Cook from American Idol. Recently Sonya explored the Cosmetic Industry as a Freelance Artist for MAC, Estee Lauder, Clinique and Laura Mercier. Sonya is excited to share her passion and experience in hair and Cosmetics with all of you.
