Hi, I am 26 and have lived in Gig Harbor my whole life. I am engaged to my partner of 7 years and we have a 5 month old yellow lab together. When I’m not doing hair I love to be at the beach, reading, traveling, doing a puzzle or playing video games.
I have been in the hair industry for 6 ½ years, my specialty is low maintenance hair that looks good from the time you leave my chair until the time you come back.
I have always wanted to do hair, the technique of foiling specifically fascinated me. My favorite hair trend is Lived-In color and my least favorite is choosing your part based on what’s “trendy” because I think parts should be chosen based on your face shape and your cowlicks.
The craziest thing I have done with my hair is cut it to my chin and color it blonde- crazy I know😜
My top three hair care tips are always use a heat protectant, a shower head filter, and protecting your hair when swimming in chlorine or salt water.
My favorite thing about working at Blonde Culture Salon is the endless support from Kristeena and Erica, even though we are booth renters at BCS they both are always checking in to see how we am doing, and the resources provided are so valuable whether it’s classes, support with our business or social media advice.
My favorite travel destination so far has been Portugal, it’s so beautiful! Future travel plans include Thailand and Japan, although nothing is booked yet!
My favorite success story and my favorite reaction after transforming a clients look go hand in hand. It would have to be when a client says “oh my gosh it’s so blended” and then when they come back and say “my grow out looks so good still I probably could have gone a couple more weeks.” I love that I’m able to give my clients low maintenance color so they have more flexibility with when they come in.
If I could choose any hair color for a day it would definitely be reddish strawberry- I haven’t committed because I know how high maintenance it is and the journey it would take to get back to my natural color
