Happy November, happy holiday season!

Thanks you all for being so patient with our family in the month of October! Thankfully we are all on the mend of healing!

Last week I tried going back slowly, kiddos back in school, on Monday I came home from dropping off and simply vacuumed downstairs.. I was completely out of breath and exhausted over one thing.. I looked at brian and I said… “ummm, this isn’t like me!” I realized my body probably went into survival mode to take care of everyone else, and I never got time to properly heal up myself. I took last week slllooowww, not because my mind was in charge, but my body definitely is, and I have to listen to it.

That being said, I am going to try and do 2 clients a day this week, and hoping as the days pass, I can go back into full gear soon! So again, thank you all for being patient with us!

Hello all! Some of you may know that Covid has hit our household. With Corbin to now follow Brian & myself, just now testing positive tonight (10/14). Roslyn hasn’t had many symptoms 🙏🏻 but I’ll be testing her as well.
I have been in contact with our doctors, but I will be contacting the kiddos pediatrician for an update on a timeline of when I can reschedule clients, and back to school! October may be hard on us, I appreciate the understanding! Everyone will be ready for holiday hair! Thank you all for you love and support!

Hello all! Thank you for the clients that have had to cancel and wait for a pending appointment! Brian was exposed to covid at work this week, and for the recommended waiting period, has had to wait til today to get a test from our doctor. I had a telemedicine appointment with her as well, and we are remaining in quarantine until then.. I asked about clients with vaccines, with my worry if by chance we have it and it is spreading from our house. She confirmed, and that the CDC is also saying, no one is immune to carrying it even with vaccines.

With that being said, I am going to shut down the bookings site, JUST until we know a negative test has been taken! So I can have more room for clients that need to now reschedule.. We should know more within a couple days! Hoping to open my doors again Monday! Sorry for the inconvenience, big hugs all around!

I want to thank every single one of my clients that have had the outmost patience with me! I’m trying my darnedest to go through my whole year, the rest of the school year, summer, and then new school year included.
I have over 700 texts and I apologize from the bottom of my hair follicles if I never received one, forget to text you back, I promise the reminders help me! And in all honesty I am having some anxiety opening this back up a little, I loved everything about quarantine and it taught me what I was missing at home, even though I work here! I don’t want to go back to crazy work hours so that’s why I’m trying to get this online system perfect before I open it up fully!

Last month I said I would hopefully reopen the online scheduling as of July 8th, depending on everything going on around us.. with the numbers and unknown the way that it is, I have made the decision to NOT reopen the online booking as of right now. There is no way to not overbook myself, new clients making appointments, and so the fairness to you all, and to myself, I’m asking everyone to now text me with 2-3 dates that works well with you. Hoping that will be an easier way for a response from me quicker (cause you all know how wonderful I am at that 🤪) but I ask to please send me reminder texts! Your not bugging me at all, I most likely looked, wrote a text in my head and got busy with who knows what! And then other texts coming in on top...I’m tryin y’all! ❤️

With school and our world in the unknown of what is happening, I just have to continue to ask for your patience. It’s unfair of myself to ask my kids for me to work 12 hour days all summer long, with them really not allowed in there right now 😢 so sticking to my promise to myself, of 2-3 clients a day.

Was up until 1:30 getting things organized and ready to slow open this week! Almost 5 years (October) I transitioned from working in a salon (that I still miss so much) to working in our home. Many clients, that have become dear friends. Some have been with me since my nerve racking first blind date with Brian, into our marriage, houses, babies, house flood, cows, chickens, dogs, and watching my babies grow into little people ❤️ We could not thank you enough, so we took this time to clean things up, make things safe, and a little spot to catch up and get beautified! Thanks for making this happen for our family, it has gone amazingly past our expectations. The hours opening might be a little different, for everyone’s safety, the wait we thought would only be 2 weeks, turned into 3 months. I called it my “maternity leave” that I never really took with Roslyn. 😂 I enjoyed just being home, doing projects, and getting to know my kids all over again. Working day in and day out shows you what you are missing sometimes. Big eye opener for this mama, but I am so excited to see everyone and get busy with some quarantine hair!

Salon update! I will be opening my doors on June 8th. There are many new Health Department guidelines that we must follow.
I will be contacting everyone THIS WEEK, starting with March 20th on for the fairness of everyone! If you have any symptoms the week or morning of, I promise to work with you on rescheduling your appointment. This is for the safety of yourself, other clientele coming in my home, and my family. My website will be down until July 8th, for the fairness of everyone trying to get rescheduled. And I will overlook the health in our county to take more people a day, come July. Thank you all so much for doing your part! We are all in this together! I so look forward to seeing everyone!!

June 8th-July 8th(ish)- I will be working 6 days a week, taking 1-2 clients a day.
AFTER THE FIRST MONTH, I will be hopefully moving to 4 days a week, 4 clients a day. (To enjoy summer with the kiddos and having 3 days together, and 4 days working ❤️)
