Grief is a heavy emotion to carry. And oftentimes overwhelming to experience. Which is why sometimes we choose to carry it instead of experiencing it. If we will allow the heaviness of grief to carry us into the parts INSIDE our own bodies that still feel the pain, and just be present with those parts, we can experience profound shifts in what that grief is saying to us. From “life is too painful to continue experiencing, I don’t want to be here” to “wow, I have incredible capacity to feel and to love and to extend empathy to others to the point I actually TAKE ON their pain. And this too is part of life, and I am strong enough to love my way through it every time”. Same experience, completely different FEELING. We have that power. We are just that strong. 💗 ILY Keep Rising
