Acne falls into two main categories:
1. Non-Inflammatory Acne
(Clogged pores without infection or swelling)
Whiteheads (Closed Comedones)
Pores are clogged and closed at the surface
Appear as small, flesh-colored or white bumps
Common in acne-prone and congested skin

Blackheads (Open Comedones)
Pores are clogged but open at the surface
Dark color is from oxidation (not dirt)
Common on nose, chin, and forehead

👉 Respond well to chemical exfoliation and extractions

2. Inflammatory Acne
(Red, swollen, and often painful)
Papules
Small, red, inflamed bumps
No visible pus
Can feel tender

👉 Caused by inflammation within the pore

Pustules
Red bumps with a white or yellow center (pus)
Often what people think of as a “pimple”

Nodules
Large, hard, painful lumps under the skin
Deep within the pore
No visible head

Cysts (Cystic Acne)

Often hormonal

And I plan on once I have the consistent clientele and revenue to be able to donate to the schools in my area so that children can experience, art programs, music programs and sports programs that they would like to, but parents may struggle to provide to do and I also want to be able to find a way to get back to domestic violence, survivors, and single parents because it is not easy whether you are a survivor or a single parent so I would like to do things to give back to them as well as be able to offer funding for them to go back to school within the beauty profession so that they can build a legacy for their family as well.
