Important PSA announcement!

PSA: im not shaming people who do it. I’m warning against THIS specific blade. I told you “why” I don’t suggest them in the video- “because it can cause micro tears and texture issues.” I thought the alternative was obvious - ‘a NON serrated blade’ . many commenters have said they googled that and found tons of options. Dermaplaning vs removing peach fuzz are 2 different things. Never said you can’t do either at home. Just be cautious. Im sure this serrated blade can be used without causing harm but I’ve had clients come in with texture issues because of these blades and lots of commenters have had the same experience. Hence me making a PSA for my clients/followers. Why is there opposing information on this from other professionals? Idk. Contact your state board and ask? I’m a licensed esthetician and was taught this. Idk why some estheticians from 3+ years ago weren’t trained on this. Idk why it may vary state to state and year to year. Idk why some dermatologists suggest it either. All I know is I was trained against them and I’ve seen the actual damage from it on clients. So take it or leave it. There’s always going to be contradicting info from any side to absolutely everything. What is with the entitlement people have while sitting behind a screen to just oppose, disagree, insult or spread negativity?! It is wild. Just scroll on. Like what is the actual point of it? It’s the exact reason su***de and insecurity is at an all time. People who aren’t confident enough to make their own reels all of a sudden are confident enough to troll other peoples videos to spread negativity bc they disagree. 🤯🤮. Estheticians don’t have to have flawless skin to be skilled, if that’s your thought process then I’m not the esthetician for you and that’s okay 🫶🏼 insulting my rosacea is an internal issue of your heart not mine. There’s no pleasing the internet. I could literally say “donuts can make you gain weight” and here come the trolls- “but donuts haven’t made me fat. She’s spreading misinformation! She’s sizest. Don’t trust her bc she doesn’t have a perfect body 🤦🏼‍♀️” make it make sense. Keeping boosting my profile with your comments tho ✌🏼😂
