What is a Brazilian Blowout?
It is a smoothing treatment that uses breakthrough technology that customizes the smoothing treatment to the client. It actually improves the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.
How long does it take?
Depending on the amount of hair you have it can take anywhere from one and a half to three hours.

What is your favorite Halloween memory?

Growing up we would all get together and go trick or treating than go to the park and have basically like a little party and we would all sit around all dressed and just hang out. Some of my favorite neighbors built a whole haunted house in their yard!

When you wake up in the mornings what is the first thing you do?
The first thing I do in the mornings is let my dogs out and feed my chickens!
I love my mornings now but I do miss the mornings where I didn’t have to get out of bed till I had to start getting ready for the day!!!

I want to give a quick Happy birthday shout out to the best mom a anyone could ask for! You’ve always pushed me to dream hard and work harder. You taught me no matter how big the dream is it’s always reachable. I never realized how much I took having such an amazing mom for granted. You worked so hard to give me a perfect life! I am so blessed that god gave me you.

Top five things I have learned since becoming a hair stylist.

1. If you want to be the best, you’ll never stop learning.
2. Your clients are very important to you; They want to grow with you, and they want to see you become the best.
3. It’s not always about the hair you will touch hearts as much as you touch hair.
4. You are not going to be the stylist for every client that sits in your chair, but you will find the people who think that you are THE BEST STYLIST THEY HAVE EVER BEEN TO. (In these moments remember you are awesome!)
5. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE WHO SITS IN YOUR CHAIR TO PERSONALLY ATTACK YOU. (If they don’t like the hair you do fine that’s their right. If they don’t like you fine that’s their right. Don’t allow them to call you names or be disrespectful.)
**Most of all remember that there is always someone cheering for you even if you don’t know it.

What do you love to do!?
We as people have a tendency to forget about ourselves. There are so many other things to think about right?
Wrong.! If you don’t stop and think about YOU what good are you to others.
1. Take a moment to think about all the things you’ve done in the last seven days. How many of them are things you felt obligated to do? How many of them are things you did for other people? Now how many of them are things you did for you or was something you really wanted to do?
Now if your first two numbers are bigger than the last... it’s time that you take some time and invest in yourself.
Take a you day. Get your hair done, get your nails done, see that movie you’ve been wanting to see or get a Dutch bros. Take yourself on a date. Designate time every month to you and your well being and finding you outside of your husband, kids, dogs, job or all the other things that keep you so busy.!

15 things your hairdresser wants you to know

1. A cut and a trim cost the same. You aren’t paying for the amount of hair on the floor, you are paying for the hair left on your head.

2. Trying to request “whoever does best” is one of the rudest things you can do in a salon. This also includes asking me if I know what I am doing. That’s why I have a license. And you should do research before picking the chair to sit in

3. You should NOT be able to count your layers.

4. Yes. Those are the “only days I work.”

5. “Short, but not too short” is NOT a legitimate measurement.

6. When you say you want it “exactly like this picture, but not that short” then you DON’T want it exactly like that picture.

7. No, you will never look like Beyoncé, Halle Berry or Eva Longoria with box color.

8. Saying you want something completely different without cutting too much off or changing the color is NOT POSSIBLE.

9. Don’t ask me if I have anything earlier after asking me to schedule you for my earliest available time.

10. If you come in late, it is only forgivable if you have a coffee for me.

11. You knew your birthday was coming up longggg before now. No, I cannot “squeeze you in.”

12. No, you cannot eat a full meal while I am doing your hair.

13. If you walk in the door 10 min before closing, you are not getting a haircut.

14. Don’t try to “help” by holding your head up while I’m shampooing. I promise your head is not that heavy. I can pick it up.

15. And, no, it is NOT the least stressful job out there. Anyone who says that has never stood behind a chair 8-13 hours a day.
