Sharp Futures provides foster youth with free professional hair services and take-home hair care products. When kids look good, they perform better, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging.

Our next event is November 15th, 10am to 1pm, at 27 The Salon in Mesa, AZ. Licensed pros donate their time and space, so every dollar raised goes straight to what the kids take home: shampoo, conditioner, styling products, combs, brushes, bonnets, durags, snacks, and bags to carry it all.

Had the best churro ever. That pretty much sums up my weekend, lol. Incredible seeing behind the scenes of a large event and watching it all come together. Inspiring too, seeing others in the industry making moves and chasing their dreams.

Walked the beach with a good friend and his daughter, same one my son and I used to walk with him years back.Had me reminiscing about my dad taking us to Venice Beach every year as a kid.

Connecting, networking, supporting one another, and getting away from the desert for a bit. Much needed.

And did I tell you about the churro😏
