The harsh winter cold can leave our skin dry, flaky, and dull.

Keeping skin moisturized and hydrated is very important. Dry/ dehydrated skin emphasizes aging signs such as fine lines and wrinkles. It also can aid in a compromised skin barrier.
Dry skin is a lack of lipids(oil), dehydrated skin is a lack of water.

To target these concerns, it’s important to target it both internally and externally.

Be sure to drink lots of water! Coconut water is also a great addition to keep you hydrated.

Eat food/ fruit such as watermelon, cucumber, cabbage, etc.

Avoiding things that can cause dehydration such as coffee, sugar, salty foods, etc

If you have to have your coffee like me, be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day.

Wash your face with cool or lukewarm water.
Hot water will dry out or irritate your skin.
