On April 19, 2025, Christopher Willis died from the injuries he sustained from the motor vehicle crash. There are no charges pending from the investigation.

**UPDATE: VICTIM IDENTIFIED** (2:46pm 4/10/2025)
We have positively identified the male as 51 year old, Christopher Willis, from Pennsylvania. He is listed in critical condition due to the extent of his injuries and we have yet to locate any family associated with him. If you are familiar with him or a loved one please call 856-881-1500 and ask to speak to an officer.

Last night at approximately 8:21 p.m. a pedestrian walking south in the northbound lane of Delsea Drive was struck in front of Smash Bros. Officers could not locate identification or a cell phone belonging to the victim. He is currently at Cooper Trauma and we need to notify his family who may be looking for him. His description at the time of the crash is as follows:
Black male
Wearing blue jeans, gray t-shirt, dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black puffer coat.
Green backpack
Hair is shaved close to his head and he has a mustache as well as a beard that is close to his jaw line.
Jewelry is a diamond stud in his left ear and a thick silver double helix necklace (photo listed in comments)
Approximately 5'10/185lbs
Approximate age mid 40s-50s
No known tattoos/scars
