I'm Delana, and I have been a licensed cosmetologist in Connecticut for about two years. I have always been involved in hair and makeup since I could remember. As a little girl I was involved in ballet and dance, so stage makeup to classic hair buns was my introduction to this industry. As I got older, I started to branch out with coloring my hair, playing with eyeshadow and lipsticks, and eventually putting on false eyelashes. When I went to cosmetology school, I knew I found where I was meant to be. To be able to say, "I never work a day in my life" is an understatement. To see that moment of happiness from my client after finishing styling their hair, is one of the main reasons why I do my job. Hopefully after reading this, you can understand this isn't a job for me...
this is a passion, a living, and my art.

I love how you can see the daytime and nighttime of this 🤣🤣🤣

1 row of extensions and holy moly you guys... 🤯
I was shocked at how thick roots to ends these extensions are. The density is even, they were easy to color, brush, and the weft line was so small and flat it laid against her scalp SEAMLESSLY.
This was 1 r o w. AND it WASN'T HEAVY for my client, she said it felt more comfortable than the last time. Even though I was using the same technique 🤯

2025 taught me quite a bit, actually.
I didn't know some of these things, nor realize it till later in the year.

BTW, I did a full air touch highlight with all tip outs. No hair was left out of a foil, essentially.
Also...no root tap or smudge. I didn't need it when using the airtouch technique.
