Back in the running! We were taken down after someone had let them know I have retired. But the Wheeling intelligencer were wonderful and reactivated the nomination.

Being nominated again for the 2026 Ohio Valley People’s Choice Awards means more to us than we can adequately put into words. 🏆

What makes this recognition so special is WHO gets to decide.

This isn’t an award determined by a healthcare system, an organization, a committee, or a set of internally created benchmarks. It is chosen by the families we serve. The people who have trusted us with their children. The parents who have sat across from us in exam rooms, called us when they were worried, celebrated milestones with us, and allowed us to be part of some of the most important moments in their families’ lives.

There is something incredibly meaningful about being evaluated by that standard. ✅

Families don’t measure care by policies, productivity numbers, or what feel like are randomly chosen organizational metrics. They measure it by how they were treated. Whether they felt heard. Whether they trusted us. Whether they believed their child mattered when they walked through our doors. ♥️

That is about as real and raw a measure of the work we do as it gets.

So to every family who took the time to nominate us again — thank you 🙏🏼. Your confidence in us has always been the standard that matters most, and this nomination means more because it came directly from you. ❤️

And on a personal note, this one feels a little different for me. It may very well be my last hurrah in this particular game. My life is taking a different path, but some things don’t leave you just because your job title or workplace changes.

I will forever be a child advocate and a pediatric provider at heart. Whatever comes next, that part of me isn’t going anywhere.

So if this is my last time seeing my name on this ballot, I can’t think of a more meaningful way to close this chapter than knowing it was the families I served who put it there. ❤️ 💥

💙 Good morning, everyone.

Just a quick check-in from your favorite PA. 😊 It looks like we could have some pretty strong storms move through our area today, especially later this afternoon and evening.

With all we’ve been through with recent flooding, I just wanted to encourage everyone to keep an eye on the forecast today. If you’re out with the kids, have a plan to get somewhere safe if the weather changes quickly. Please don’t drive through flooded roads, even if the water doesn’t look deep, and make sure your phones are charged and weather alerts are turned on.

Sometimes these storms end up being much less than predicted, and I certainly hope that’s the case today. But I’d rather remind everyone to be prepared than caught off guard.

If you have an appointment with us today and the weather makes you uncomfortable traveling, please don’t worry. Your safety always comes first. Just give our office a call, and we’ll be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Stay safe, hug those kiddos a little extra, and know I’m thinking about all of my wonderful patient families today. ❤️

We know… we know… letting go is hard. 😉 Trust me, I’ve felt the love, and we are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of your families.

As a reminder, my last day seeing patients will be July 31.

If your child has an appointment scheduled after July 31, we kindly ask that you do one of the following:

📞 Please call our office to:
✨ Reschedule your appointment with Jon Michael Brunner, who will be providing excellent care for our patients moving forward, or
✨ Cancel your appointment if you’ve decided to establish care with another practice.

Making these changes now helps our staff keep the schedule accurate (now for JM) and ensures every family gets the care they need without unnecessary delays.

Thank you for the incredible support, kindness, hugs, cards, and memories you’ve shared with me over the years. It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life to care for your children.

Now… as much as we’d all like to pretend July 31 isn’t coming… 😅 it’s time to make those phone calls.

On Fridays I have the privilege of serving the families at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling on National Road!

They provide amazing care to families whose children need rehab services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. 

The medical department, headed by my handsome husband, David Mosman, is able to care for children needing medical management of ADHD, autism, insomnia, etc. 

One of the 1000 reasons I love Easterseals is that they spoil us with hot coffee and sandwiches from Sarah's on Main regularly! We are lucky to be a small part of their amazing work. ♥️
