Tanya Mathews, Tanya Brinkmann, Laura Schmalz, and Sue Plihal, with the help of Laura and Tanya’s husband, created this scarecrow at the Glenfields walking trail, in Glencoe. It is neat to see so many participating in this! Check it out, if you have a chance, through October!

22 years ago, today, Tanya bought the salon, from her friend, and mentor, Janette! Miss that wonderful lady, every day! I am so thankful, for all of the amazing customers and stylists, that I have been blessed to work with over the years! Can’t wait to see what the future years hold!

Well after almost 10.5 years it’s time for me to say good bye to the Hair Studio. I have loved my time with all the wonderful ladies I have the opportunity to work with. We have so many wondeful memories, from prime rib in an ice storm, to loosing or hotel room. To the restaurant being out of everything and selling mini portions. To all the love notes and packing peanuts! And don’t worry we can still order pizza and Chinese!!
Don’t worry I will be back behind a chair soon and my new salon Salon Rustic LLC.
