Today behind the scenes at Xpressive Mocha, I’m preparing our Mocha Dabs™ — individual, one-time-use samples of our coffee- and tea-infused body butters.

Each little cup is filled by hand, one by one, so someone can experience Xpressive Mocha before committing to the full-size jar. And when we’re preparing for special events, gifting opportunities and brand experiences, there are a LOT of little details happening before those products ever leave the Xpressive Mocha studio.

Whipping. Filling. Labeling. Packing. Counting. Recounting. 😅☕️

It’s all part of keeping this small business brewing.

What you see here is just a glimpse of what we’ve been preparing behind the scenes: individually packaged samples of our coffee- and tea-infused whipped body butters, created to introduce guests to the Xpressive Mocha experience.

There’s something special about watching a brand you built by hand continue to make its way into rooms you once dreamed about entering.

A little Sunday Iced Tea Body Butter caused quite the reaction in the waiting area today. 😂☀️

I put some on and let the receptionist try it too. A few minutes later, two ladies walked in with their husbands and said, “Wow, it smells so good in here!”

The receptionist explained that we had just used some hand cream. One of the husbands came over, asked to smell it on my hand, and said, “I was about to lick it—it smells so good.” 😳😂 I promise, it’s for your skin only!

Then the receptionist asked, “What was the name of it again?” Good thing she already had the website. 😉

Sunday Iced Tea may be one of our Mini Mocha Shots, but it definitely leaves a big impression.

☀️ A Friendly Summer Reminder 🫙

Our body butters are handcrafted in small batches using premium plant-based ingredients, which means they’re made to nourish your skin—not withstand extreme summer heat.

Over the past five years, we’ve been fortunate to have very few issues with products melting during shipping. However, with this summer’s unusually high temperatures, we’ve seen an increase in packages arriving warmer than expected.

Because of that, we’re implementing a new summer packing system to help protect your handcrafted products while they’re in transit. While no packaging can completely prevent melting in extreme heat, we’re taking extra steps to give your order the best possible chance of arriving in great condition.

Here’s how you can help:
📦 Bring your package inside as soon as it’s delivered.
☀️ Avoid leaving it on a porch, in a mailbox, or in direct sunlight for extended periods.
🌿 If possible, have your package delivered to a cool, shaded location.

If your body butter softens or melts, don’t worry—the quality and benefits remain the same.

Simply:
🤎 Place it in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
🤎 Allow it to return to room temperature before enjoying it.

The texture may change slightly, but it will still provide the same luxurious moisture your skin loves.

As a reminder, once a package is marked Delivered by the shipping carrier, it is no longer in our care. We cannot replace or refund products that melt after being left outside or exposed to excessive heat after delivery.
