For all of us in Los Angeles, the fires bring so much grief and trauma. If you are in Los Angeles and have been impacted, you may feel shock, confusion, disbelief, or what I call “grief brain.” And while well-meaning people may say, “At least no one died,” remember: your loss is valid, and it’s okay to grieve the home, memories, and stability that were taken from you.
