STOOOOOOOPPPPPPP 🛑 Brows go through a healing phase of about 7-10 days where you have to take extra steps to ensure the best results possible 👈🏻 This means planning ahead so you can carry on without a fuss 💁🏻‍♀️

They will also be dark for the first 4-5 days. Dark? Yes.... DARK. It can look a little intense and unbalanced the first few days because they are so prominent. So events and the like are not recommended during this time. Plan around so your results aren’t compromised and so you don’t feel uncomfortable 💖 I want this process as seamless for you as I can!

If a client has a wedding to go to, they are most likely getting their makeup done (at least where I live 🎊), so they will be covering up their brows. Booking brows 2 weeks before the event is perfect timing, brows will be healed and makeup can safely be applied on the brows a couple weeks later. This is also the best time because they go through their pale phase too 😊

If you are going to be in the sand and sun, and you don’t have at least 4 weeks between appts, then book when you come back. The sun is soooo damaging to fresh work (and all work actually), aka rapid fading, and you definitely don’t want that! ☀️ 🏝 ✈️ You also don’t want to be in a situation where you can’t keep your brows clean, you don’t want dirt/bacteria particles on the fresh work either (no infections pls!) 🦠

✨3 THINGS✨for the artist + the client!!

Cosmetic Tattooing should not be a flippant decision ❌ To get the results you deserve, there needs to be research into your future artist, the actual procedure itself, and what it requires from *you* to make sure you have the best outcome 👈🏻

Permanent Makeup comes with an investment and a commitment. That means one must think of the future (artists and clients alike!), and be aware and comfortable with the work needed to get to the results you want. It is NOT overnight. It is NOT one session and done. If that does happen, that’s the exception not the rule 🙏🏻 There are SO MANY variables that make up the outcome of your session. Skin quality, skin conditions, underlying health issues, the ability and experience of your practitioner. There’s also the variable of new data/techniques/tools/inks that weren’t available 3 years ago. There is not one universal way to do it and get the same outcome. *Every single person* is unique and will heal uniquely to them. This often falls on deaf ears unfortunately 😞 Cue panic from the client and the artist second guessing themselves 😩 In an alternate world, there is calm and trust to work together and solve an unexpected outcome. That’s TRUST 👈🏻

If you trust someone to TATTOO THEIR FACE, you need to keep trusting them throughout the process 💗 Including READING YOUR PREP INFO 🤓 If you are anxious/nervous and it’s causing you stress, you may not be ready for cosmetic tattooing and what it requires from you, and that’s okay 💖 Trust me, you will have a better experience when are able to commit without tension ❤️

Total do-over 😎 Following up to my previous post!

I used to implant this beautiful and natural over this previously done microbladed brow which had been done by 2 different artists. The pigment faded to a reddish color (iron oxides) and faded especially fast for this active client with a fast metabolism and can often be found doing activities outside ☀️ So iron oxides were bound to fade on her *too* rapidly, in talking within 3-6 months. Going into the skin that frequently is a massive NO NO 🛑 🙅🏻‍♀️❌

Softap gave me the adjustability to vary my pressure based on where this is more scar tissue to get into the dermal/epidermal junction (where the ink needs to get in order for it to stay!).

I also used my blades in .25x14u doing a tap/push motion (no “blading” per se) which left the tissue in tact and preserved her skin integrity for the future 🌈

I can’t wait to see these healed! Working over scarring is tricky, so sometimes it stays sometimes it doesn’t, so that’s why the touch up is super important so I can make the necessary adjustments to make sure it’ll stay!
