☀️🤎 HOW TO PREP FOR SPRAY TANNING 🤎☀️
Want the smoothest, longest-lasting glow possible?
Here’s exactly how to prep for your appointment:
✨ 24 HOURS BEFORE
🧽 Exfoliate from head to toe
🪒 Shave or wax if needed
💧 Drink plenty of water
🧴 Moisturize daily (especially elbows, knees, hands & feet)
✨ DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
🚫 No lotion
🚫 No oils
🚫 No deodorant
🚫 No perfume or body sprays
👗 Wear loose, dark clothing
✨ AFTER YOUR TAN
⏰ Wait until your recommended rinse time
🚿 Avoid sweating, swimming & getting wet before rinsing
🧴 Moisturize daily to extend your glow
✨ Pat skin dry instead of rubbing with a towel
A little prep goes a long way when it comes to a flawless, even fade🤎
Okay, I have a confession…
For the longest time, I thought people got spray tans because they wanted to be tan.
Like, obviously. That’s the whole point, right? 👀
But after spray tanning so many women over the years, I’ve realized that’s usually not what they’re actually looking for.
Nobody comes in and says, “I need to be 2 shades darker.”
Instead, it’s:
“I have a wedding this weekend.”
“I’m going on vacation.”
“I haven’t felt good about myself lately.”
“I know it’s silly, but I just want to feel a little better.”
And honestly? I get it.
Because I don’t think it’s ever really about the tan.
I think it’s about how you feel when you catch your reflection in a mirror and think, “Okayyyy, there she is!!!”
It’s wearing the outfit that’s been sitting in your closet.
It’s saying yes when someone wants to take a picture.
It’s walking into an event feeling confident instead of picking yourself apart the whole time.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bronzed glow. 🤎
But my favorite part has always been seeing someone’s face after they rinse and realizing they feel good 😍
Not because they look like a different person.
Because they feel a little more like themselves.
Anyway… that’s my spray tan TED Talk. 😂✨
