📣 Meet the Owner and Barber: Raquel Quintanilla
💈 10 years behind the chair

“I want every person who sits in my chair to feel like they’ve made a lifelong friend. Barbering has always been more than just cutting hair to me—it’s about connection, trust, and creating a space where people feel seen.”

Raquel draws inspiration from the old-school barbers—just pure skill, no enhancements, no shortcuts.
But before picking up clippers, she was actually on a completely different path: studying biology and sports science. “Leaving school for hair wasn’t easy, but I’ve never looked back. I’m so thankful I made that decision.”

If she could cut anyone’s hair, it would be her grandfather.
“I graduated two weeks before he passed. I never got the chance to cut his hair, but I know he would’ve been so proud.”

You’ll catch Raquel talking about everything and anything with her clients.
“I’m a certified yapper—facts,” she laughs.
But she also drops gems in the chair:

✨ “Give yourself the same grace you give others. It’s okay to feel things—feelings are meant to be felt.”
She’s noticed that especially men, often don’t give themselves that permission.
