Lately, I’ve been spending time with these two beautiful books, and they’ve been such a reminder of how important it is to care for both our mind and our spirit.

It’s not just about “thinking too much”… it’s about learning how to respond differently. With simple, practical exercises, it helps bring calm back into a busy mind.

🌸 Inspired by PrayerThis journal is such a gentle, intentional way to slow down and spend time with God. Through guided prompts and scripture, it helps you reflect, pray, and reconnect—one page at a time.

And honestly… we need both.

In a world that constantly pulls at our attention, choosing to slow down—even for a few minutes a day—can change everything.

After 18 wonderful years, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Serenity Salon. This decision did not come easily, as this salon has been more than just a business—it has been a family, a ministry, and a beautiful journey filled with memories and relationships I will cherish forever.

To all of our past and present clients, thank you for your trust, loyalty, and friendship through the years. To all of our past and present employees, thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the love you poured into Serenity Salon every single day.

I’m so grateful for each and every person who has been a part of this 18-year story. Though this chapter is closing, I’m waiting with hope and excitement to see what God has planned next.

So I’ve had some clients text me so I’m going to clear the confusion.

I will be taking off every 1st Wed of the month. I will be working Wed-Friday 9-3. Which means my last color appt will be taken at 1:00, last highlite appt 12:30, last cut 2:00.
I will also no longer be doing kids cuts. I would rather them get acclimated to a hairdresser that can carry them for a long time!!

I highly recommend to always prebook. The more you book out, the better!

I pray everything works out for everyone!
But I completely understand if some need to move over to the girls at my salon! Absolutely no hard feelings!! I thank everyone who has worried about my feelings with them moving to the girls, y’all are truly the best!!
I have to make better decisions for myself to keep my body from completely falling apart! Lol

Starting June 1st, Lindseys work schedule will be changing. Wednesday-Friday 9-3. Please understand that this decision was not easy! For any clients that i can no longer accommodate, Kurstin, Elisha and Melanie will be happy to help!!
