As a makeup artist, I find myself in this situation from time to time. The bottom line is there is a huge difference between value and price. If you have to explain your value to anyone, you’ve already lost. The minute I sense someone questioning my price because they don’t understand my value (30 years of experience, my background, my education, my sheer volume of knowledge I’ve acquired) I simply move on. If they think they can do it better themselves or find someone cheaper, then they absolutely should do that. The end.

Hi everyone!! You all have been amazing friend and clients! I’m now reaching out to colleagues, as I’ve lost touch with some of you when I left my salon to be a mobile artist during the COVID pandemic. As always, I can’t just do things small.
