Skye had awards day...National Junior Honor Society, A/B Honor roll, Special award for Theater!!!! So proud of our girl !

This girl....I am so proud to call her my daughter. Her first year getting to compete with a solo...through a broken foot, blood and bruises, health issues, and the journey we are navigating with my diagnosis. She has stepped up every time. Platinum tonight making everyone cry with the gorgeous performance she gave. Skye I am truly humbled and blessed to call you my daughter. I love you more than words. Thank you Dance Dreams Academy for fostering an environment that has enabled her to grow, flourish, be challenged, find community and chase God's heart. Not only has Skye been poured into, but our family has truly been blessed by our wonderful dance family at DDA. I am so thankful. Can't wait to see how amazing these girls do tomorrow! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
THANK YOU to everyone praying. Your prayers are working! After 2 rounds of chemo I had to stop for several weeks because we have not been able to get my potassium and magnesium to stay up to a safe range. After 3 infusions in one week and increased pain , yesterday a CT scan was ordered. The enemy started to creep into my head with fear and doubt. Being off chemo so long and increased pain had fear trying to over take my faith. BUT GOD HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN!!!! ( elevation rhythm song on repeat!) I was humbled immediately when I clicked on my chart test results! ( of course I look at everything before the medical team🤪) PRAISES!!
The fear that pain meant my cancer was spreading was cast out because GOD is in control ! Not only did my cancer not spread .....all the metastasis on my liver decreased in size by 50%!!!!! Prayer is a mighty weapon. Worship fights and wins battles. Some days may be hard but truly there are lessons and opportunities in EVERYTHING. I can say this journey has taken my faith to a place of understanding beyond words. If you ever struggle with your faith or belief....I would love to share how GOD continuously walks with my family and I. I am blessed beyond measure..not because I had good scan results, but because HE loves us so well.I may not know how this journey will go, but I know how I get to spend eternity!!!!!!
