Our lives will forever be changed. My heart will always have a piece missing. My brother Patrick, who just had his birthday on the 13th and turned 41, passed away on the 17th. He was my only sibling for 15 years. He is the only one I share all my childhood memories with, vacations, road trips. He taught me to pull the covers over my head if I’m scared, and nothing can get you. He was the guy who was the first to compliment you; he was your biggest supporter. His smile was infectious. He could make light of any situation with his quick wit. He loved his family hard and loved a house full of people to entertain. He was so generous and giving, to a fault. His son was the light of his world. To say he will be missed is an understatement. My grandma passed away on the 5th of this month. And knowing her, she is pretty upset with him for joining her so soon. I know they are all sitting around catching up. But dang, life isn’t fair. Knowing I will see them again gives me some peace, but the hole will always be there. Patrick, I hate that you got your wings so soon, but watch over us down here. And give everyone a squeeze. Until we meet again, I will miss you every day.💔🪽

My mom was going through photos and came across her Aunt CJ as a little girl! I showed my daughter (5 yrs old) and she thought it was her! CJ and Rowan could pass for twins- they are only a few years apart 😉
