I am now offering hand tied hair extensions!! ✨

You can add color, dimension, density, volume, length or all of the above.

I have been trained in various different techniques of extensions over the last 17 years, but hand tied applications take the cake! 🍰

There will be limited availability for extension appointments as I start to work this service into my existing books, I promise your patience will be worth it!!

Today was my first day back at it! I truly felt such joy on my ride home that tears started to flow. Blessed that I can work, blessed that I got to work along side some of my besties, blessed that my clients seriously rock. Everyone was so kind today. Everyone had a smile. Everyone was great to talk to. This brings joy to my heart. This is why I LOVE my job. Thankful doesn’t say enough about how I feel about the support from my family, friends and clients today. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

🙌🏼🙌🏼 Successfully booked well over 100 appointments today! 🙌🏼🙌🏼It went super smooth because YOU ARE AWSOME!! I went in order of how the appointments were canceled. I also contacted the few that reached out and wanted an appointment. I am waiting to hear back from a few people. I tried my best to not miss anyone. If you think I have please reach out... or if you would like an appointment shoot me a message! I am surprised my phone, computer, or house didn’t catch on fire today during booking😂 I had a smile on my face the whole time thinking of seeing my peeps! 🖤

What sweet sweet news we heard today!!
Please be patient as I start to contact everyone that had an appointment on the books before closing this will begin Monday. When contacted you will have 2 hours to respond, I have to keep scheduling moving. This doesn’t mean you won’t get an appointment if you don’t answer in that time frame, it just may be at a different time. Please show grace as I navigate exactly what it will look like to open. I can’t wait to see you all!!

A few things to look forward to...
☀️ sunless Tanner! I have a handful of sunless tanner coming in this week. I have tried many....many.... many brands and still go back to my favorite, “Fake Bake”. I will have their new tanning water and their flawless darker formula. The tanning water doesn’t need to be rinsed off after and has a great sent, no harsh chemicals. The darker formula is for the impatient type (🙋🏼‍♀️) get fast results, rinse after a few hours, and no harsh chemicals. $30 for the tanner AND application mitt. Free shipping if you purchase two or more products.

🎨 I have been spending some extra time (have lots of that) taking some online courses. I can’t wait to see you all in my chair and use some of these new skills.

🛍 Once back open, you will notice some new retail goodies, hair styling products, and new hair color options. I have been doing some research and product testing in my time off! I can’t wait to share these with you!

We as a salon are working on our plan to safely start back behind the chair again. Stay tuned for more on this. I have an ongoing list of all the clients I have had to cancel and will contact each of you as soon as I know I can go back. I can’t thank you enough for all of your kind words and support during this. So many of you have reached out, this is why I love my job and my people. It saddens me to make this official. I will be closing the salon doors until at least April 13th as asked of me by the governor. I will miss all of my clients terribly. Please stay home, stay healthy and lets work together to get through this. I am not going to be rescheduling my appointments until I know for sure when I will be back open, this will save lots of time scheduling and rescheduling. When we do come through this, we will be better than ever! If you can, say a little prayer for us small business owners. Love to you all ❤️

We, at Rubies & Refuge, are taking coronavirus seriously. Your health and the health of our stylists are at the top of our concern. We are using sanitizer and disinfectant throughout the salon. Hand sanitizer is also available. We have switched to disposable products as well. All employees are washing hands, stations, and equipment (this is not a new thing 😉) we ask that if you are sick, have a cough, or fever please contact your stylist to reschedule. If you do happen to come in and are showing signs of sickness, we may ask you to reschedule when you are healthy. (Also something we ask of you even before these circumstances). The last thing we ask is that you NOT bring your children with you to your appointment if they are not also scheduled for services. We, in the past, have welcomed families, but for everyone’s safety and limited space we ask that you find appropriate care for your kiddos during the time of your appointment. We understand that this may mean you have to reschedule. We love you all! Let’s work together and care for each other and get through this.
