Western Edge Sharpening

Food Bank of the Rockies kept me busy. Taught them how to use Steels, and donated 3 steels as well.

We made a custom bumper in place of the missing one. The Loppers had major crossover. The hand pruners weren't closing all the way as they cycled. We relieved some material from the stop. Perfect every time. They cleaned up quite nicely. Then put a Western Edge on em. 🤠✂️🔪

Started today out nicely. A fresh pot of coffee and a couple knives. I gave this client a couple steels and trained a few on how to use them. We all had a pretty good time.

Added a swivel to the thumb blade on a Show Gear today. I left it with a customer to try out. Personally I love the swivels. I'll see if they were a hit or not in a couple days.

This K9 II has been dropped hard enough it split the case open on this motor.

Brought some Ellipse and Vortex Shears back to life yesterday. My client said they have been packed away for over 30 years. I replaced the washers, bumpers, and finger rests. Got almost done and was adjusting the Ellipse handles and it snapped off. Found out the hard way they were cast handles. She wasn't upset at all. I gave her one of my new ones that I sell, as a temporary replacement. But it was fun cleaning and sharpening them. It was still an awesome day ✂️👍
